OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2012. On September 4, a meeting has been held of Yuriy Kolobov, Minister of Finance of Ukraine, and IMF European Department Technical Mission officials.

The meeting has discussed issues of the 2013 budget key parameters. IMF experts provided their evaluations of what will impact both global and Ukrainian public finance in 2013.

In turn, Minister if Finance Yuriy Kolobov said that draft State Budget of Ukraine 2013 has accounted for global economy’s developments and forecasts.

The IMF Technical Mission has also appreciated of the government's policy to further consolidate the budget and balance its debt policy.

Yuriy Kolobov emphasized how important IMF expertise to Ukraine is, saying that the Ministry of Finance would keep involving the Fund’s technical missions.
