OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2012. Production units and sales departments of OJSC KAMAZ fulfilled the August business plan for manufacture of the basic products.

Within the last summer month, the company made more than 4 thousand vehicle sets. In all, it has produced more than 35 thousand units since the beginning of 2012, which is by 14% more than for the first 8 months of 2011.

In August, the engine plant and CUMMINS KAMA JV produced more than four thousand engines and power units. Since the beginning of the year, more than 37,000 units have been produced, which is a 10% y-o-y increase. For 8 month, KAMAZ produced spare parts to the tune of RUB 10 billion.

In view of the strong demand for trucks, OJSC KAMAZ continues working according to its usual five-day schedule in September.
