OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2012. OJSC Moscow Shipyard will deliver a buoy tender of Project 3050 built for the Authority of Pechersky Inland Waterways and Shipping (Komi Republic) at the end of September 2012, the shipbuilding firm said.

Samusky Shipyard, General Subcontractor of Moscow Shipyard, is completing at its yards outfitting of another two tenders No 202 and 203 being constructed for the Khabarovsk-based Authority of Amursky IWS.

All three buoy tenders are undergoing dock-side trials, tests of systems and equipment carried out under the supervision of Russian River Register.

The series of 27 modern inland buoy tenders was ordered by the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) for its affiliates serving the inland waterways.

JSC Moscow Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Yard (Moscow Shipyard, part of United Shipbuilding Corp.) is one of Russia's oldest shipyards founded in 1936. Throughout the years the shipyard has built more than 1,800 vessels with a total overall length of more than 52,000 meters. The firm specializes in building of river passenger vessels, fishing boats and 25-m / 50-m-long luxury yachts.

In 2002, the shipbuilding company successfully passed the certification of quality management system according to ISO 9001. In September 2011, the shipyard commenced the construction of high-speed multi-purpose boats MRV14 for Russian ports. Since 2011 the company has been building a package of 27 buoy tenders of Project 3050 and 12 tenders of Project 3050.1 for maintenance of navigational aid on Russian inland waterways. Since mid-2012, Moscow Shipyard has been engaged in the construction of boats for the Russian Navy.
