OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid the insurance indemnity in amount of 15.3 m rubles in relation to the fire that took place on January 09, 2012 in Kaliningrad Region.

The fire completely destroyed the warehouse building, including utility systems; the supporting structures of walls and roof came crashing down. The buildings of refrigerator and mechanical workshops that are adjacent to the warehouse building were also damaged.

In relation to the fire, a criminal case was commenced under Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional destruction of property by arson").

The amount of damage was determined by LEBB LLC (a survey organization). On the basis of the documents provided by the client, the event was recognized as insured. The amount payable was determined by the experts according to the cost estimate provided by the client. The damage was fully compensated by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, the insurance indemnity amounted to 15.3 m rubles.
