OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2012. The cumulative premiums collected by the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company branches in the North West Regional Center in 1H 2012 amounted to 490.0 mln rubles, which is 115 % higher that within the same period of 2011.

As for the voluntary insurance (excepting life insurance), the premiums amounted to 272.2 mln rubles (an increase of 64 %), including private insurance – 13.8 mln rubles (an increase of 50 %), property insurance – 238.3 mln rubles (an increase of 77 %), voluntary liability insurance – 20.2 mln rubles (an increase of 9 %). Insurance premiums for MTPL insurance – 197.5 mln rubles (an increase of 215 %). Insurance premiums for compulsory insurance of civil liability of the owner of a hazardous object for damages in case of an accident involving the hazardous object – 20.3 mln rubles.

Compensations paid by the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company branches in the North West Regional Center in the 1H 2012 amounted to 183.7 mln rubles, including private insurance – 6.2 mln rubles, property insurance – 94.4 mln rubles, voluntary liability insurance – 3.5 mln rubles. Compensations paid for MTPL insurance – 79.6 mln rubles.

During the specified period, the following lines of business were the most dynamic ones for the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company branches in the North West Regional Center: personal accident and sickness insurance (3.5 mln rubles) – an increase of 3,255 %; insurance of buildings, facilities and structures (16.6 mln rubles) – an increase of 192 %; insurance of watercraft (10.9 mln rubles) – an increase of 92 %; cargo insurance (4.8 mln rubles) – an increase of 106 %.

It is to be recalled that the area of responsibility of the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company branches in the North West Regional Center is as follows: Arkhangelsk Region, Vologda Region, Kaliningrad Region, Murmansk Region, Novgorod Region, and Pskov Region, as well as the Republic of Karelia, and Komi and Nenets Autonomous District.
