OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2012. Uzbekistan will enter to Top 10 of countries in the report of Doing Business, which annually published by the World Bank.

At the Uzbekistan-US Business Forum, Minister of Economy of Uzbekistan Galina Saidova said that the adopted measures on improving business environment and providing more freedom to businesses will allow Uzbekistan to enter Top 10 of the report.

She underlined that Uzbekistan decreases number of procedures on registration of new enterprises from six to four and terms from 14 to four days.

She said that Uzbekistan also wants to cut preliminary expanses on creation of new enterprises from 27.2% of expanses per capita to 0%.

Saidova underlined that Uzbekistan decreases permission procedures from 25 to 12 and procedures for connection to electricity from nine to five.

Uzbekistan will also cut number of tax payments from 41 to seven and number of documents, required for exports, will be lowered from six to four, and import – from 11 to 5, she said.

She said that Uzbekistan also intends to decrease legal expenses for execution of contracts from 22.2% to 9% from the case sum.
