OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2012. Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province in central China, raised residential gas prices for the first time in five years.

The price of residential gas rose by 7.61 percent to RMB 2.26 (USD0.36) per cubic meter (cm) from RMB 2.1/cm (USD 0.33), Taiyuan’s municipal pricing bureau (TMPB) announced.

Taiyuan’s residential prices were last adjusted in August 2007.
