OREANDA-NEWS.  September 05, 2012. The 9th Session of the 3rd Board of Directors of China COSCO Holdings Co., Ltd. (the "Company") was held in form of video-teleconference at the Conference Center of Beijing Ocean Plaza and the Conference Room, Floor 52, COSCO Tower, Hong Kong, reported the press-centre of COSCO Group.

The Meeting was presided over by Capt. Wei Jiafu, Chairman of the Company, and attended by Mr. Ma Zehua, Vice-Chairman of the Company, and Company directors including Mr. Li Yunping, Madam Sun Yueying, Mr. Sun Jiakang, Capt. Xu Minjie and Mr. Jiang Lijun along with independent directors including Mr. S.S. Teo, Madam Rita Fan Hsu Lai Tai, Mr. Kwong Che Keung and Mr. Peter Guy Bowie. The Meeting was also observed by Mr. Song Dawei, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, and other members of the Supervisory Committee including Mr. Gao Ping, Mr. Ma Jianhua and Mr. Luo Jiulian, independent supervisors of the Company Dr. Meng Yan and Dr. Zhang Jianping,Executive Vice Presidents of the Company Mr. Xu Zunwu, Mr. Wan Min, Mr. Wang Xingru and Mr. Zhang Jiqing, CFO Mr. Feng Jinhua, Secretary of the Board Mr. Guo Huawei.

At the session, a total of 11 proposals relating to release of 2012 mid-year financial performance, adjustment of members of the Board of Directors, revision to the Articles of Associations of the Company, as well as operation and management of the Company were listened and reviewed. All proposals had been approved unanimously.

The 8th Session of the 3rd Supervisory Committee of the Company was convened on the same day. The Meeting was presided over by Mr.Song Dawei, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee. At the event, the report on financial performance of the company in first half of 2012 was listened, and the 2012 semiannual report, summary of semiannual report, announcement on mid-year performance, revision to the Articles of Associations of China COSCO and the China COSCO Internal Control Manual (2012) were reviewed and approved.
