OREANDA-NEWS.  September 05, 2012. In August, CNPC independently developed hydrocracking catalyst PHC-03 was successful put into industrial application at a 1.2 Mt/a hydrocracking unit of the company’s subsidiary Daqing PetroChemical, reported the press-centre of CNPC.

Hydrocracking catalyst is of significant importance for CNPC to achieve high middle distillate yield and meanwhile meet the demand for ethylene feedstock and reforming feedstock.

Calibration and running results show that PHC-03’s performance has reached international advanced level, and PHT-01, a hydrocracking pre-refining catalyst independently developed by CNPC to support PHC-03 is also qualified for industrial production.

This indicates that CNPC is capable of providing independently developed technology package on hydrocracking catalyst.
