Ltd. seized the vanguard position of the construction of the crude oil storage tank in Hainan Yangpu, got the bidding for the procurement project of the high strength steel plate for the first stage construction, reported the press-centre of Baosteel. 

A few days ago, Baosteel Metal successfully got the bidding for the procurement project of the high strength steel plate which apply for the 10*104 cubic meter crude oil storage tank in the first stage construction of the Hainan Yangpu oil wharf and its support storage and transportation facilities. Baosteel Metal seized the vanguard position of more than 30 millions cubic meters planned crude oil storage tanks of the Hainan Yangpu development area (national-level).

The construction of the oil wharf of Yangpu Port and its support storage and transportation facilities is the main construction project of Hainan Province in 2009. This project locates at the Shentou dock in the Yangpu Development Area. The overall construction scale has two 300,000 tons of class’ oil terminal berths, two 100,000 tons of class’s, two 50,000 tons of class’ and the crude oil tank with 5,000,000 cubic meters. The total cost is about 7 billion RMB.

This invitation of bids for the procurement project of the high strength steel attracts many domestic competitive steel companies.
