OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2012. Our delegation will be headed by Vice-premier, Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar. At the forum Valeriu Lazar is going to meet Economy Minister of Poland Waldemar Pawlak and representatives of governments of Hungary, Kazakhstan and Monte Negro.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, representatives of Moldova will take part in discussions and make two presentations, namely Development and Adoption of Development Strategy and Reforms in Moldova – Performance and Prospect. To promote the image of our country and local production at the forum a special event is organized to present folklore and national traditions of Moldova.

The economic forum in Krynice has been held since 1991 and has become an important economic event in Central and Eastern Europe. This year about 3.5 thou of representatives form 60 states and over 500 journalists are expected to take part in the forum. In the framework of the forum 5 plenary sittings and over 100 panel discussions on matters of economy, innovation, reforms, neighbouring policies with EU, international security, etc. are to be held.
