OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2012.   The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Yury Boiko, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister.

The parties discussed the ongoing gas injection in Ukraine's underground gas storage (UGS) facilities by Naftogaz Ukrainy as well as the plans for replenishing the facilities with gas by the beginning of the autumn/winter period. It was emphasized that sufficient gas amount in Ukraine's UGS facilities was the key precondition of fulfilling the gas transit obligations by the Ukrainian party.

The meeting also addressed the prospects for cooperation in the gas sector.
