OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2012. Belarus’ beer output increased 0.9% on the year in January-July 2012 to 27 million decaliters, the National Statistics Committee told.

In July alone beer output reduced 6.1% on the year to 4.2 million decaliters.

Beer inventories were at 2.4 million decaliters as of August 1, 2012, 62.4% of the average monthly output.

Inventories reduced 7.5% from July 1, 2012 following gradual decrease in beer output in June (down 17.5%) and July (6.1%), a beer market expert told.

Beer sales increased 0.8% on the year in January-July 2012 to 20.082 million decaliters.

In terms of 100% alcohol, beer sales grew 1 percentage points in January-July to 14.4%.
