OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2012. Joint venture "Vietsovpetro" produced 200-millionth ton of oil since the start of the field development in Vietnam.

JV produced first oil in 1986. Over the past year company produced 6,4 mln tones of oil. JV "Vietsovpetro" permanently works on increasing the resource base and expansion the area of operations through developing the new blocks. According to the Intergovernmental Agreement, signed in 2010, the period of the joint activity of Russia and Vietnam under the JV "Vietsovpetro" was extended till 2030.
