Ukraine Cancels Fee for Long Term Visas to Poland
OREANDA-NEWS. On September 15, 2012 the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the abolition of payment for the issuance of national (valid for more than three months) visas comes into force.
Cancellation fee of 20 Euros for national long-term visa (type 'D'), which the Polish side only in 2011 issued more than 200 thousand, will allow citizens of Ukraine to save an average of 4 million Euros a year.
The recent decision by the Cypriot side on the liberalization of the visa regime with Ukraine, and now - another country member of the EU, our strategic partner Poland, is a result of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry work by the President's order to ensure the rights of our fellow citizens to freedom of movement.
