OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2012.  Fujitsu Limited has announced that its Board of Directors made a decision today regarding appointments to the Executive Nomination Committee and Compensation Committee.

Reappointments to the Committees

Hiroshi Oura (Director of Fujitsu Limited and Honorary Advisor, Advantest Corporation)

Michiyoshi Mazuka (Chairman and Director of Fujitsu Limited)
New Appointment to the Committees

Masami Yamamoto (President and Representative Director of Fujitsu Limited)

Shotaro Yachi (Outside Director of Fujitsu Limited and Professor of Waseda University Organization for Japan-US Studies)
Regarding the Executive Nomination Committee and Compensation Committee
1. Establishment

October 2009
2. Purpose

(1) To ensure the transparency and objectivity of the process to select executives of the company;
(2) To ensure the transparency and objectivity of the process to determine executive compensation, as well as the appropriateness of compensation systems and levels.
3. Role

The committees will discuss the items listed below and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.

(1) Proposals on the nomination of executives to be submitted to shareholders' meeting;
(2) Proposals on executive compensation to be submitted to shareholders' meeting;
(3) Proposals on the calculation of compensation for each level of executives;
(4) Proposals on the replies to be given to the Board of Directors’ inquiries
