OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2012. In 2012, the production of books and booklets has been increased in Ukraine. These data are published by the Ivan Fedorov Book Chamber of Ukraine.

13,663 titles of books and booklets in circulation of 27,809 thousand copies are registered in the Book Chamber as of August 27, 2012. Compared to the same period last year there have been issued by 25.2% more copies of printed books and booklets,  the circulation increased by 48.3%.

This year, in Ukrainian, there were published 61% of the total numbers of titles, in Russian - 28%. The Ukrainian editions make 45.9% of total circulation, Russian - 48.3%. Compared to the same period last year, circulation of books and booklets in Russian grew by 75.8%, Ukrainian - by 28.6%.
