This autumn, Selver AS, a subsidiary of AS Tallinna Kaubamaja, is going to introduce gourmet stores to fill the niche market for delicacies, which stands out from the traditional selection offered in stores. The first Selver Gurmee store will be opened in the beginning of September in Tallinn in Gallery B of the 1st floor of Kaubamaja. In addition, Selver plans to open another store in central Tallinn and negotiations are underway to establish stores in Tartu and Parnu.

Gourmet stores will be selling delicacies that cannot be found in the range of traditional supermarkets, and wines that are bought from various parts of the world, but also from local producers. The stores aim at being the first choice for anyone who enjoys good food, and serve as a meeting place for connoisseurs. Thus, food and wine courses and tastings will also be organised in gourmet stores.
