OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2012. Trials complete on compressor unit of the air of key technological subdivision of the plant – polymerization workshop. The system demonstrating full operability is put on automatic mode. The specialists met no difficulties in the process of check on the aggregate, reported the press-centre of Titan. 

This procedure was carried out within commissioning work of polymerization workshop. Commissioning works include check of pump, compressor and other dynamic equipment, settings and operability of regulating valves and cutoff fittings; one also prepares complete technological equipment for trials with the use of inert media (air, nitrogen), which allows to conduct cleaning of collectors, check operability of all units without expenditure of the product and without technological risk.

All commissioning works in polymerization workshop are conducted with supervision from specialists of company Tecnimont – technologist Leonardo Guarasho and mechanician Bruno Tomazi – workers of polymerization workshop, department of chief mechanician with active participation of polymerization operators. It allows operators to thoroughly study technological equipment, master and perfect the skills necessary for its exploitation. 

Assembly of electric heating and insulation complete the process of commissioning in polymerization workshop, and also final works on improvement (painting of pipelines etc.).
