UTair Engineering Confirms Maintenance Quality Certification
OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2012. UTair-Engineering has passed inspections held by the Federal Air Transport Agency and the Aviation Register of the Interstate Aviation Committee and has confirmed its compliance with maintenance standards outlined in the Russian Civil Aviation and Aviation Rules legislation AP-145.
The compliance certification is valid for two years and permits the company to continue maintenance operations on Mil Mi-8, Mi-8MT (Mi-17), Mi-8 MTV-1 (Mi 17-1V), Mi-8AMT, Mi-171 rotorcraft and Antonov An-2 aircraft.
In addition, both certificates cover the UTair-Engineering's expanded MRO activity on foreign-made helicopters, namely the Robinson R44. UTair-Engineering in to date is the only maintenance facility in Russia certified for servicing these rotorcraft.
The issuance of the certificates confirms the professionalism of UTair-Engineering and offers quality assurance for services in compliance with ISO 9001:2008-certified quality management system.
