OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2012. In Makhachkalacity a meeting of the Security Council of the republic chaired by Magomedsalam Magomedalievich Magomedov, the President of the republic, took place. They discussed the question on regulation of the activities of private security organizations on Dagestan territory.

In his report M.M.Magomedov expressed his discontentment with the increasing number of civil servants who are illegally escorted with a weaponed cortege. At that, as M.M.Magomedov said, “Some of them are escorted by officers of internal affairs, some are escorted by “Chernomortransneft” employees, or by cash-in-transit services. The employees of “Chernomortransneft” representation Company in Kaspiysk city are engaged with their own professional activities, namely – physical safeguarding of the trunk oil pipelines from criminal attempts by numerous organized criminal groups. Often their work goes alongside with direct risks to their lives. So, on July 29, 2012, S.Saiputdinov, an unarmed employee of “Dagestan” integrated squad, who confronted with criminal tappings into the trunk oil pipeline and many times suppressed thefts of oil, was killed in Kizlyar. Nevertheless, nobody of officials of “Chrnomortransneft” JSC on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan has private guards. In case the republican law-enforcement agencies do possess such like facts, TRANSNEFT JSC is ready to consider the corresponding information.
