OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2012. Baosteel Metal Baoyi Canmaking aluminum can double-track line full linkage succeeds and is put into trial production. Baoyi Canmaking's annual output capacity has a substantial increase from 650 million to 1.35 billion, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

The company has thus become the first domestic can manufacturer with both steel two-piece production line and aluminum two-piece production line.

Baoyi Canmaking is the the first domestic two-piece steel can manufacturer. After years of development, in technology, quality, production process control and credibility building,the company have achieved new breakthrough. Its products are greatly favored by the market, and it establishes strategic cooperation partnership with Pepsi, Coca-Cola and other well-known enterprises at home and abroad. At present, Baoyi two-piece steel can's market share is high and  product supply cannot satisfy demand.

In recent years, tea drink gradually becomes popular and tea drink packaging material is mainly aluminum. Thus vigorously developing two-piece aluminum can is an important measure in Baoyi Canmaking's adaptation to market changes. From September last year, its plan to build a new aluminum can production line to the official start of construction in February this year, and to today's full rangelinkage success, Baoyi Canmaking completes this project in only a few months time,supporting the seizure of market for the future.

It is reported that Baoyi Canmaking aluminum can double-track design annual capacity is 700 million cans, and it also reserves expansion space. After the production line is put into production, Baoyi canning varieties can meet different customer needs, "combination of steel and aluminum" production mode will also further expand the market space. Baoyi canmaking official says that in addition to tea beverage packaging market, the company is also quite optimistic about the domestic beer packaging market.
