OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2012. “TSUP VSTO” Ltd. (TRANSNEFT JSC’s affiliated facility) according to the results of competitive tenderings concluded a contract with “Stroynovatsia” Ltd. for realization of building of NPS-20 of the East Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO PS). “Stroynovatsia” Ltd. attracted “Novoural’skaya Industrial Company” Ltd., a subcontracting organization, for fulfillment of the main complex of works.

For the moment, TRANSNEFT JSC receives appeals on non-regulated financial interrelations between “Novoural’skaya Industrial Company” Ltd. and the direct executers of the work, who participate in the building of NPS-20 object at ESPO PS, as well as appeals on subcontracting organization’s debts on wages payment to its workers.

Thereupon, TRANSNEFT JSC considers it vital to make a statement that all the financial liabilities on NPS-20 building before the general contractor and the subcontracting organizations attracted by him are fulfilled properly and in time. At that, the interrelations between the general contractor and the subcontracting organizations attracted by him, go far beyond the competence of the owner of the project according to the applicable legislation of theRussian Federation. The question of timely payment of wages by “Novoural’skaya Industrial Company” Ltd. to its workers, according to TRANSNEFT JSC’s opinion, demands interference of the corresponding law-enforcement authorities.

TRANSNEFT JSC executes all its obligations before the general contractor on advance payments and payments for the executed works in due time and to the full extent.
