OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2012. This was spoken about at a meeting Premier of Moldova Vladimir Filat had with representatives of the United States Secrete Service in Europe Marcus Snipe and Darrel White.

The meeting was also attended by Director for the Center on Combating against Economic Crimes and Corruption Viorel Chetraru. Marcus Snipe noted that the department he represents deals with money laundering and the department is ready to render the respective assistance to CCECC. Markus Snipe noted willingness of his organization to train officers of the like bodies in Moldova for them to learn about American methods and techniques of struggling against economic crimes. According to him, experts from the USA are ready to arrive in Moldova and help their counterparts to combat against economic crimes more efficiently.

Vladimir Filat welcomed the support the government of the US is going to lend Moldova. As he said, to make joint efforts in the fight against economic crimes more effective, they have to be backed by a firm institutional basis. American guests thanked the Premier for Moldova’s seconding efforts of the US in creating a safe climate in the region.
