OREANDA-NEWS.  August 27, 2012. The seminar The Present State and Trends for the Development of Horticulture in Chernivtsi Region and Ukraine (production, care, protection, realization, storage, issues and possible solutions) took place in the town of Sokyriany in Chernivtsi region with the active participation of CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK PJSC, reported the press-centre of CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.

The seminar was organized by Dnister Corporation, which unites more than 200 gardeners, by the Main Department of Agricultural Development of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, by Sokyriany District State Administration and District Council, as well as by Bayer Company – world-renowned manufacturer of crop protection agents.

Dnister Corporation seminars gather participants from almost all the regions of Ukraine; they are characterized by a high level of organization and participation of international companies working in the field of horticulture and crop protection agents.

The seminar was opened by the Head of the Regional State Administration Papiev Mykhailo Mykolaiovych, the Head of the Main Department of Agricultural Development of Chernivtsi Region Oleksiuk Mykola Vasyliovych, the Head of Sokyriany District State Administration Kozak Vasyl Vasyliovych, the Deputy Head of the Department of Control over Seed Breeding of the State Agricultural Inspection of Ukraine Hudzii Yuriy Borysovych, the Deputy Head of Sokyriany District Council Horn Eduard Serhiiovych.

The seminar was also attended by the representatives of the well-known international companies, such as Bayer with information on the new crop protection products, Lechler with information on equipment for dispensing plant protection agents on orchard crops, the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Amako company, the outlet of CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK PJSC in Chernivtsi renowned for its fruitful cooperation with the agricultural companies, Maksymaryn PE, Dolyna, Lihnohumaty LLC, Lvivagroproject.

The representatives of the bank presented programs for financing of the purchase of crop protection agents by means of bill avalization, working capital replenishment, partnership programs for the purchase of agricultural equipment for the garden and other instruments helping farmers to receive necessary machinary and funds for more efficient horticulture.
