OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2012. The President Mahinda Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka conducted an inspection visit to the project site of The Colombo Katunayake Expressway (CKE) contracted by MCC Group, reported the press-centre of MCC Group. 

At the jobsites of K0 and K4 bidding sections, the President learned in details on the implementation progress and quality of the works. He gave full recognition on the perfect performance of MCC Group, and expected MCC to participate in more projects in Sri Lanka.

Ms. Lin Hongbing, the Chief Representative of MCC Group in Sri Lanka, promised to President Mahinda Rajapaksa that, MCC Group would spare no efforts in building CKE into not only the No. 1 State Expressway in terms of the high quality on a timely basis, but also the symbolization of the friendship between Sri Lanka and China.

She added that, MCC Group would continue to come to stay in Sri Lanka and make continuous contribution to the development of this country.

The other attendees during the visit included: the Minister and the Permanent Secretary from the Ministry of Port & Expressway of Sri Lanka; key staff of the employer; Manager Dong Heping and his colleagues of CKE Project Division of MCC Group.
