OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2012. OJSC ‘Perm Engine Company" and OJSC ‘Aviadvigatel" awarded the best operator of PS-90A engines. It was "Vladivostok-Avia" airline, reported the press-centre of Perm Engine Company. 

The Certificate, granted at the day of the 80th anniversary of "Vladivostok-Avia" company, was handed at the solemn ceremony by Oleg Korolev, the Commercial director of OJSC "Perm Engine Company". Prior to this the airline had been already awarded as the best operator of PS-90A engines in 2007 and 2010. 

The best operator of PS-90A engines is selected taking into account several criteria: intensity of engines' operation (average monthly operation per engine of a company summed up at the end of a year), absence of engine cut-offs in-flight, incidents and removals, caused by engine failure due to the fault of an operator, fitting of the company with diagnostic equipment in conformity to the requirements of operations manual, and also operational efficiency of troubleshooting.  

In the moment "Vladivitok-Avia" airline fleet counts 6 long-haul aircrafts Tu-204-300, equipped with Perm PS-90A engines. It was exactly "Vladivostok-Avia" that in 2005 was the first Russian company which started operation of this type of the aircrafts.
