Average Rate on Loans Extended in MDL Reached New Peak
OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2012. In July, 2012 the average rate on loans extended in MDL reached a new all-time peak and made up 13.38% p.a. It declined 0,31p.p. as compared with the previous month, NBM informs. The previous all-time peak was recorded on June, 2012 and amounted to 13.69%.
In July Moldova saw the decrease of the average interest rate on loans extended in MDL to legal entities by 0.47 p.p. from 13.2% to 12.73%, and the decline of the average interest rate on loans extended in MDL to individuals by 0.28 p.p. from 15.42% to 15.14%. The highest interest rate in July was that on loans extended in MDL for up to 1 month to individuals and made up 24% against 17.92% in June.
The highest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended in MDL for 1 to 3 months. It equalled to 15.3%, making 15.31% and 14.96% for legal entities and individuals respectively. The lowest interest rate was that on loans extended in MDL for over 5 month to legal entities and made up 10.92%.
The lowest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for over 5 years. It equalled to 11.39%, making 10.92% and 11.52% for legal entities and individuals respectively.
