OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has paid 6.4 m rubles to Belgorod Granulated Meal Limited Liability Company (Belgrankorm LLC ), located in Proletarsky settlement, Rakityansky District of Belgorod Region, in connection with the death of farm animals.

75 thousand swine were insured against death and forced slaughter for the total sum of 280.9 m rubles.

Necessary expert examination was needed to establish the amount of damage, which resulted in acknowledgement of the event as an insurance event, and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has paid an insurance indemnity to the agricultural company in accordance with the agreement conditions.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has been cooperating with Belgrankorm LLC  in the sphere of agricultural and industrial insurance since 2004. During this time, the insurance covered real estate, equipment, agricultural machines and motor transport, stock, farm animals. Payments of damage were made in respect of different insurance cases in accordance with agreements conditions. During this period, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company made insurance payments to the company for the total sum of 59.1 m rub.

Belgrankorm LLC  is an agricultural enterprise which specializes in crop production, poultry breeding, swine rising, cattle breeding and meat processing of products. The company is a part of BEZRK-Belgrankorm Agroindustrial holding, one of the largest multi-branch, vertically integrated structures of the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation. The main directions of holding’s activity include production of poultry, pork, beef, sausage and delicatessen, milk, grain and combined feed.
