OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2012. The delegation of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs, headed by Vice-Minister of Finance Mr. Ang Tuan Du Huang, visited the Russian FCS to study the experience of the Russian Federation Customs Service in the sphere of customs regulation.

On 18 of June, 2012, in the Russian FCS the delegations held negotiations on the questions of customs cooperation development between our countries. Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Mr. Andrey Belyaninov confirmed that the Russian side was ready to sign the Memorandum between the Russian FCS and the General Department of Vietnam Customs about the statistical data exchange in mutual trade, as well as the Plan of collaboration between the Russian FCS and the General Department of Vietnam Customs for customs violation control, when the visit of President of the Social Republic of Vietnam in Moscow took place at the end of July, 2012.

During the meeting, the Russian and Vietnamese sides emphasised that our countries are in friendly relationships, that are historically determined and constitute the base for the development of modern customs collaboration between Russia and Vietnam.

The parties confirmed their readiness to assist each other to increase their trade turnover. They also discussed the number of issues of customs registration and customs control organization in both countries.
