OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2012. During the 8th session of Russian-Indonesian Joint Committee for trade, economic and technical cooperation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. D. Rogozin, the Memorandum between the Russian FCS and Central Statistics Directorate of Indonesian Republic about statistical data exchange in mutual trade was signed.

Nowadays, the legal base of the customs cooperation between Russia and Indonesia doesn’t exist. The mentioned above Memorandum will initiate the development of such a base and will enable to make steps forward to improve the collaboration between the Customs administrations of both countries.

The document will lay down the foundation of collaboration between the Russian FCS and the Central Statistics Directorate of the Indonesian Republic in the sphere of foreign trade statistics. It will also enable to provide the parties with reliable statistics data in time, so as to support and monitor the economic cooperation between Russia and Indonesia and assist in the development of trade and economic relationships.
