OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2012. China Huaneng Group Co. Ltd., the country’s largest power producer by installed capacity, has begun construction of a gas-fired combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) project in Tianjin Municipality, Huaneng said.

Located in Tianjin’s downtown Binhai New Area district, the plant will have two gas-fired turbines with combined installed capacity of 900 megawatts.

Huaneng will deploy RMB 3.19 billion (USD 501.7 million) to construct the project, according to a statement by Huaneng.
