PM of Ukraine: We Should Open Foreign Markets for Domestic Goods
OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2012. Ukraine should actively open foreign markets for domestic products, while opening opportunities Ukrainian market for investors overseas. This was stressed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at a Cabinet meeting on August 22.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the need to promote in order to "our enterprises in exporting sectors at a difficult time found orders in the domestic market." And such opportunities are really even in conditions of recession of the global economy.
The Prime Minister announced that last week he met with Lee Jae-oh, the Commissioner of the President of the Republic of Korea.
"Koreans are offering investments into our economy and are interested in intensifying bilateral trade. The Korean business has well examined Ukraine’s potential," Mykola Azarov informed, saying that Korea is ready to participate in joint production in Ukraine of high-speed trains, building high-speed railways, construction of LNG terminal, in projects in agriculture, create of e-governance projects and more.
"Our trade and economic relations with China, Brazil and India is on the upswing," the Prime Minister emphasized. "I demand to give special attention primarily economic relations with countries which demonstrate dynamic development."
