Ukraine Increased Electricity Exports by 73%
OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2012. Over January to July 2012, Ukraine has exported 5 320.3 million kW/h of electricity, which is 2 247.2 million kW/h, or 73.1% more than in the same period in 2011.
The largest share of exports was to Belarus - 2 115.6 million kW/h, or 39.8%. The second place is to Hungary - 2 022.5 million kW/h, or 38.0%. The third and fourth - Poland and Moldova, 526.9 million kW/h, or 9.9%, and 471.6 million kW/h, or 8.9%, respectively.
In July 2012 for export there were transmitted 1 006.2 million kW/h of electricity, which is 405.5 million kW/h, or 67.5% more than in the corresponding period 2011.
