OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2012. Transportation and logistics company "Kedentransservice" (a joint venture of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” and JSC “TransContainer”) confirmed the quality of its freight forwarding services.

The company passed through the voluntary certification of Kazakhstan Centre of Management and Logistics in transport.

Checking the quality standards of transportation services provided by JSC “Kedentransservice”, began on 6 June 2012. The work of all cargo terminals of the company has been evaluated for two months. Based on the results of the audit JSC “Kedentransservice” was issued a certificate confirming that the forwarding service meets the standard requirements 1294-2004 “Forwarding service on the railways”.

To date, the voluntary certification of the Center Management and Logistics in transport have got 27 Kazakh rail operators. It should be noted that among KTZ group of companies “Kedentransservice” was the first who confirmed the quality of service according to the mentioned standard.

The results of the certification identifies the most competitive enterprises providing high level freight forwarding services which meet national standards for freight forwarding activities. A certificate of compliance with this standard is considered to be a major support for the company who participates in domestic and international procurement for the provision of freight forwarding services.
