OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2012. The State Tax Service of Ukraine recalls that until the end of 2012 a moratorium on the actual inspections of enterprises of small and medium businesses is in force. This time is allotted as 'adaptive period' to implement the new rules of simplified taxation and other legislative changes.

The number of planned documentary checks of entities during the third quarter of 2012 due to improvements of procedures in planning and selection for verification of only risk taxpayers decreased by 15%. In total for this period, the tax office plans to check 1.7 thousand entities.

In the first quarter of this year 2.1 thousand inspections have been conducted, in the second - 2 thousand. As a whole in a year, no more than 8 thousand documentary checks are scheduled. Over the past three years, the total amount of such control measures has been decreased threefold.

The STS recalls that entrepreneurs while checking if faced with illegal, in their opinion, the actions of tax authorities, have the opportunity to inform senior management of the Tax Service by means of a hotline "Pulse of Tax": (044) 284-00-07.
