Hebei Airport Signs Cooperation Agreement with ZTC Airlines
OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2012. Hebei Airport Management Group signed a letter of intent to cooperate with Taiwan ZTC Airlines in developing of the group's corporate aircraft business.
According to the letter of intent. The two sides will start a long-term cooperation in many areas, including ground service guarantees, VIP service, a corporate aircraft operation base, VIP airport terminal construction and departure lounge businesses. Zhang Yanjie, general manager of the Hebei Airport Management Group, and Yang Shouzhi, president of Taiwan ZTC Airlines, signed the letter of intent.
Zhang Yanjie pointed out that ZTC Airlines will focus on the general aviation business, utilizing advanced management experience in areas like corporate aircraft operation and service guarantees. As a province with a large population and economy, Hebei is experiencing rapid development in the civil aviation industry and has a very large potential demand for the corporate aircraft market. Zhang hopes to join hands with ZTC Airlines to expand this market and find development opportunities that are mutually beneficial.
Yang Shouzhi noted that with the completion of the new departure lounge in Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport, its overall transfer capacity will reach 20 million and become a vital part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei airport group. ZTC Airlines is attracted by Hebei Airport Management Group’s service guarantee and development potential. The airline plans to apply its mature operation model and work together with the Hebei Airport Management Group to expand the corporate aircraft market in Hebei province.
ZTC Airlines is the main aviation company engaged in general aviation in Taiwan. With a global corporate aircraft network, its principal business items include corporate aircraft flights and domestic and international emergency medical airplanes. The general aviation industry has a much stronger effect on the national economy than the auto industry. One yuan (\\$ 0.157) of investment in general aviation can produce an increase of 7 yuan (\\$1.099) in the economy. Asia Fortune Forum (AFF) predicts that in the next 10 years China’s private plane market will witness a rapid 20 to 25 percent increase per year.
