OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2012. In the Et cetera theatre, Moscow, a premier of the musical “The Train Station “Dream’” was held as part of the Nuclear Kids (Nuckids) International Creativity Project. It was initiated by Rosatom State Corporation for its employees’ children. This is the second time children of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. employees have participated in the Nuckids project. This year, the participants are Ksenia Krivosheina and Alina Tantsai from Krasnokamensk, a town where the holding’s strategic Russian enterprise JSC PIMCU is based.

In February, Krasnokamensk saw for the first time the launch of a round of on-site auditions for participants in the Nuckids project. Following auditions in 14 cities and towns, 76 participants have been chosen. These are children of nuclear workers from Russia, South Africa, the Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, India, Turkey, and South Korea. The participants spent 18 days rehearsing at Orlyonok camp located on the Black Sea coast. Under the guidance of an expert team of tutors, coaches, specialising in acting techniques, vocal training and choreography they then staged a professional musical. Alexey Frandetti, an actor and member of the acting company of the First Musical Theatre, is the production director.

In addition to Moscow, the musical enjoyed success at Orlyonok camp, in Volgodonsk and Kurchatov. It will also be staged in Budapest and Zanka, Hungary.

ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. plans to increase its involvement in the Nuckids project and expand the number of participating enterprises.
