OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2012. Since the beginning of 2012 the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine "Ukrzaliznytsia" has carried 19.945 million tons of import cargo, which is up 15.9% than in 2011, when it was transported 17.208 tons million.

In total id was imported: coal - 8.518 million tones: oil and oil products - 2.933 million tons; iron ore and manganese ore - 2.024 million tons; mineral building materials - 1.744 million tons; ferrous metals - 0.99 million tons.

Among cargo, volume, which compared to last year for 7 months is growing - coal - 125.6%, oil and oil products -132.6%, coke - 157.6%, non-ferrous ore - 132.3%, mineral building materials - 144%, cement - 509%, salt - 132.5%.
