Crimea, Azerbaijan to Develop Interregional Cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2012. Crimea and the Republic of Azerbaijan have great potential for the development of regional cooperation.
This was stated by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Anatoly Mogilev during his meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Eynulla Yadulla oglu Madatli.
He informed that Azerbaijan considers Crimea as promising region and an important partner for cooperation. "There are about 10000 Azerbaijanis in Crimea. We are grateful for your attitude, this creates a comfortable environment for people and stability" - the ambassador said.
Anatoly Mogilev expressed confidence that the stability achieved in the Crimea, is an important condition for the further strengthening of interregional relations with Azerbaijan. "In addition to cooperation in trade and economy, we need to develop brotherhood, cooperation between universities and in other areas of humanitarian and cultural cooperation" - the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea concluded.
