OREANDA-NEWS.  August 21, 2012. Qatar Airways’ corporate jet division, Qatar Executive, is facilitating the increase in travel demand for private charter travel options for Umrah flights to Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the Holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid-al-Fitr holidays, reported the press-centre of Qatar Airways.

The Holy month of Ramadan is a popular season for religious travellers to perform Umrah, and Qatar Executive’s modern wholly-owned Bombardier private jets allow those on pilgrimage to easily and conveniently reach Mecca from Doha or other destinations in the Middle East.

In the past years there has been a steadily growing demand for Umrah and Hajj flights, and the option to charter private jets has become more popular as a result of the practical value and flexibility of on-demand personalised services.

Qatar Executive’s in-flight service can be individually customised to match the travellers’ religious requirements and the experienced cabin crew serve passengers in strict adherence to Islamic principles.

Moreover, long queues and time-consuming travel formalities can be avoided as the personalised service includes the convenience of booking an aircraft in as little as four hours prior to departure, access to premium lounges and check-in only 10 minutes prior to take off.

The Qatar Executive fleet today comprises of six Bombardier aircraft – the youngest fleet of its kind in the Gulf.

The fleet includes three Challenger 605s which have a capacity for 11 passengers, and two Global 5000s for 13 passengers.

Qatar Executive also operates a luxurious Global Express XRS featuring a spacious two cabin configuration, accommodating up to 13 passengers.
