OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2012. Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, had a working visit to Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex in Nizhnekamsk, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT. 

During the visit the head of the Republic was accompanied by Rinat Sabirov, Assistant to President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of TATNEFT, Nail Maganov, First Deputy General Director of TATNEFT, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TANECO, Aidar Metshin, Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal Region, and Leonid Alyokhin, General Director of TANECO.

Rustam Minnikhanov began his visit to the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex with seeing the construction site of the combined hydrocracking installation. At present, there are full-scale works underway on the installation of the process equipment. In the last two months only five heavy weight units of equipment were installed there: two high pressure separators, an absorber, a separator of circulating gas compressor and a fractionator. Installation of two more reactors will be carried out in the coming days. President was particularly interested in the pace of construction works and the timing of the delivery, as well as availability of human resources.

Further on Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on the issues of the TANECO first stage production activity and the progress of Phase 1B construction. The reports on the work done were presented at the meeting by the leaders of TANECO, Department for Implementation of the Combined Hydrocracking Unit Construction Project, "Kamgesenergostroy", "Tatspetsneftehimmontazh" Management Company and "Yokogawa Electric CIS".

President pointed out that the first phase of the TANECO Complex had started a stable mode operation. As for the hydrocracking installation, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the need to intensify the construction and erection operations, especially taking advantage of the favorable weather conditions. With regard to the equipment deliveries he demanded strict compliance with the time limits set out in the contracts.
