OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2012. A regular annual professional skills contest of the young workers of the leading trades of TATNEFT Production Group will be held in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan). For the first time in the contest's history, it will be possible to watch it live broadcast by the TV "Luch" Company and in the internal corporate Intranet, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT. 

By tradition, the contest of professional skills among the major working specialties of crude oil production will be held at the site of a TATNEFT's structural division, NGDU "Elkhovneft", which will bring together the best young professionals, who proved by their conscientious work and high skill the right to represent their enterprises at the main professional platform of the Company.

The competitions will be held at several contest venues, and videographers/ reporters will work at each of them, so that the corporate portal users from different regions will be able to watch live the competitions of different oil and related occupations representatives.

Information Reference
The first professional skills contest was held in 1970 at NGDU "Almetyevneft" in the shops of crude oil production, PRS (well remedial servicing), PPD (reservoir pressure maintenance) and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of V.I. Lenin birth. The competitions for certain oil trades have been held among the NGDUs (Oil and Gas Production Boards) since 1975. It was in 1986 that the contest was for the first time organized at the scale of the "TATNEFT" Amalgamation.

In 2010, the contest was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Company. The event was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, who highly appraised the contest, pointing out that it "serves to increase competitiveness and personnel motivation for achieving best results, as well as contributes to the teaming up of the Company's staff".
