Ukraine to Adopt Korean Practices in Introduction of E-Government
OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2012. Ukraine and the Republic of Korea are going to develop cooperation in many areas: in science, rocket and space, transport and aviation industries, as well as the introduction of e-Government. This was discussed during the meeting of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and Lee Jae-oh, the Commissioner of the President of the Republic of Korea, which took place at the Government House.
"The system of electronic governance – it's an interesting topic for Ukraine. We can in this regard effectively cooperate," said Mykola Azarov.
In turn, Lee Jae-oh stressed that Ukraine can use the experience of Korea on the issue of electronic governance. "In respect of creation of system "Electronic Government" Korea is recognized as a leading country in the world," emphasized Commissioner of the President of Korea.
Overall, as emphasized Mykola Azarov, Ukraine and Korea have a good history of cooperation. "With Korea we have established good political relations, visits occur at the highest level" said Prime Minister of Ukraine, reminding that this year the parties celebrate the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
"Korea - is the country which is rapidly developing, and we are very interested to develop the economic, political, technical and scientific mutual relations. We have a broad range for the development of our relations," said Mykola Azarov.
