OREANDA-NEWS.  August 17, 2012. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, as compared with June, 2011 it decreased 0.6%. During this period production grew 7.5% in the mining industry and 0.35 in the processing one.

The energy sector, including generation and distribution of power and heat, saw the 4.4% decline of production, which determined the general slowdown of production by 0.3% in the first half-year of 2012. In January-June, 2012 it was produced 7.3% more foodsuff and beverages than in the same period in 2011.

In this period production of vegetable oils and fats increased 28.3%. Production, processing and canning of meat and meat products increased 19.7%; it was produced 9.2% more distillate alcohol beverages 9.1% more wines and 7.5% more milk and dairy. Processing and canning of fruit and vegetables increased 6.5%. Production of medical devices, precious and optical instruments increased 1,8 times; it was produced 32.4% more electrical machines and equipment. At the same time, in this period it was produced 42.25 less flour-grinding products, 28.3% less machines and equipment, 26.8% less tobacco goods and 19.3% less cloths.

A decline of production made up 19.2% in the metallurgic industry, 14.3% in the paper and cardboard producing industry and 11.15 in the chemical industry. Production decreased 8.7% in the woodworking industry, 8% in non-metal mineral products industry (glass, gypsum, cement, etc); it was produced 5.8% less printed materials, 4.9% les bread and pastry, 4.8% of finished metal goods excepting machines and equipment, 3.5% less cacao and chocolate, 2.55 less leather items and footwear. Heat and hot wte supply decreased 4.6%, production and distribution of power shrank 4.2%. The National Bureau of Statistics has not provided information about volumes of production expressed in monetary terms and is going to publish it later.
