OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2012. The first meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC St. Petersburg Heating Grid in its new composition as elected by the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Company on June 29, 2012 took place. The Board of Directors elected Andrey Filippov, General Director of JSC TGC-1, to be the Chairman of the Board. Filippov was also elected last year.

Vladimir Kukushkin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Power and Engineering Support of St. Petersburg, was elected to be the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company.

The Board of Directors also approved its work plan for 2012-2013.

JSC St. Petersburg Heating Grid is one of the leading heating and power enterprises of St. Petersburg; it was founded on February 1, 2010, with the support of the Government of St. Petersburg, in order to improve the reliability and quality of the heat and hot water supply for the residents of the Northern Capital, on account of single management of the heating grid complex in the sectors of heat supply of JSC TGC-1 CHPs.

The company is positioned as JSC TGC-1 agent of sales of thermal energy and operates about 800 km of pipelines by right of ownership, and about 1700 km of internal block networks in 11 administrative districts of St. Petersburg; it provides the transfer of 50% of the thermal energy consumed by the city.

More than 2.5 million people live in the area that JSC St. Petersburg Heating Grid is responsible for.

The Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders made the decision to elect the following people to the Board of Directors on June 29, 2012:

1. Parviz Abdushkurov, Executive Director of JSC Ural Heating Grid Company;

2. Yevgeny Zemlyanoy, Head of Marketing in Power Sector, Electric Power Sector Development and Marketing Administration of Gazprom OJSC;

3. Vladimir Kukushkin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Power and Engineering Support of St. Petersburg;

4. Sergey Redkin, Director for Marketing and Sales JSC TGC-1;

5. Artur Trinog, General Director TEC SPb;

6. Andrey Filippov, General Director JSC TGC-1;

7. Evgeniy Khachaturov, General Director JSC St. Petersburg Heating Grid.
