OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2012. TRANSNEFT JSC began laying cuttings for building of Kuyumba-Taishet oil pipeline in East Siberia, as the Company’s official representative informed.

”66 kilometers has been cut by now for laying the oil pipeline route”, he said. According to TRANSNEFT’s representative, the total cost of the oil pipeline building may amount 96 billion RUR. Its length would be about 700 km, and it would allow joining except Kuyumba and Yurubchena, also the middle oil fields of Yurubcheno-Tokhomskaya zone to the trunk pipeline. The oil pipeline would be supposed to pump 15 million tons of oil per year, at the pressure of 75 atmospheres against 60 atmospheres that had been planned before.

The decree on building of this Kuyumba-Taishet oil pipeline in East Siberia was signed by the Government in April 2012.
