OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2012. Targets for technology upgrading in the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan identified separately in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State program of technical and technological transition to digital broadcasting in the Republic of Uzbekistan".

In order to quality and timely execute these tasks the relevant technical requirements were developed by specialists of the Company and sent to several leading companies of the world to develop practical proposals. Proposals from foreign companies such as TVC (Lithuania), SONY CIS (Russia), SK C & C Group, Celtrion ST (South Korea) and BFE (Germany) are examined currently by the Company's technical staff.

A group of technical experts at the invitation of the Corporation SK C & C group and the company Celtrion ST (Korea) visited the city of Seoul on July 16-20, 2012 as part of measures to implement the urgent tasks. During the trip, specialists of the company visited the corporation SK C & C groups and companies Celtrion ST, KBS, EBS, JTBC, SK media and familiarized with the work of organizing and re-equipment in connection with the transition to digital broadcasting, the process of pre-production of TV programs and TV series, as well as experience of full use of technical capabilities.

Specialists of the Company, in turn, shared with Korean counterparts their experience, providing details on the extensive work carried out in the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.

In particular it was noted that in the production process and the formation of TV and radio programs the modern digital equipment and media technologies are widely implemented.

A new Media Center of NTRC of Uzbekistan began its work, which is equipped with the latest digital technology and the latest technologies to produce the high quality television programs. Of particular importance is the implementation of a comprehensive program to ensure the transition into digital television throughout the country by 2017. The planned and gradual introduction of digital television is carried out as in Tashkent, and so in all regions of Uzbekistan.
During the meetings, discussions and negotiations between the technical specialists of the Company and Korean experts the views and experiences on topical issues in areas of mutual interest were exchanged.
