OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2012. Eurasia Insurance Company is participating in the reinsurance programme for one of the largest mining company in the world - Anglo American Plc – the press service of the company reported.

Under a reinsurance contract property interest, including business interruption, machinery breakdown and risks of other additional expenses are covered. Insurance amount is limited to USD1.5bn – stated the message.

Anglo American Plc is a British multinational mining company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is the world's largest producer of platinum, with around 40% of world output, and a major producer of diamonds, copper, nickel, iron ore and metallurgical and thermal coal. It has operations in Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America and South America.
