OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2012. In July, KAMAZ’s production units and sales departments fulfilled the business plan for production, reported the press-centre of KAMAZ. 

The company has produced more than four thousand vehicle sets for a month and 31 thousand units in all since the beginning of the year, which is a 13% increase over the first 7 months of 2011.

The engine plant and CUMMINS KAMA Joint Venture produced and delivered 4.4 thousand engines and power units in July and almost 33,000 units since the beginning of the year, a 9% increase over the same period of 2011. KAMAZ’s customers will receive spare parts manufactured for the first seven months of the year to the tune of RUB 8.2 billion, twice as much as last year.

Due to an increased order for commercial vehicles, the company’s management decided to cancel the four-day workweek routine introduced in June. In August, the staff of OJSC KAMAZ will work according to a regular work schedule.
